Clifford J. Cutler is the founder and designated broker for Cutler Commercial. Cliff is proud of his attributes that contribute to his success as a broker such as tenacity, perseverance, and hard work. Cliff’s accomplishments are due to his unique quality of building an organization as well as attracting and keeping key employees that help power the boutique commercial real estate brokerage company that Cutler Commercial is today. Cliff’s approach to brokerage is both “Old School”, wear your shoes out canvassing tenants to fill buildings, but he also recognizes the changing needs of the industry using updated technology, tools, and services. Cliff leaves “No Stone Unturned” in securing a potential space for a tenant or finding and orchestrating both “Off Market” and listed deals. Cliff literally believes that no deal is too small and always gives his all for the client. Cliff’s evolution into becoming a principal, owner, and syndicator of over 1 million square feet throughout the valley is fascinating. Despite his success, he still actively and eagerly puts his skills to use for new and existing clients. Cliff’s brokerage practice has spanned the disciplines of brokerage, development, entitlement, and procurement of finance. Furthermore, he has the capacities and capabilities that Cutler Commercial brings to the table as a full-service boutique real estate company that can not only procure a property but help manage and lease it as well.

A graduate of Arizona State University, Rod earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business while majoring in Real Estate. While attending ASU, Rod worked in the Research Department of Scott Jackson Brokerage. He directed industrial land and building research for 38 sales associates. During his senior year, he interned with The Ellis Corporation, a real estate development consulting firm. While at Ellis, Rod performed financial analysis and completed marketing feasibility studies for office, retail and industrial projects. His responsibilities also included assisting project manager coordination and implementation of brokerage efforts. The marketing of the firm’s developments lead to his interest in pursuing brokerage. Rod commenced his brokerage career in industrial property leasing and sales with Cutler Commercial in 1987.
While at Cutler Commercial, Rod has completed hundreds of transactions that have included build-to-suits, the sale of end-user industrial and office property as well as the leasing of incubator warehouse suites, dock-high distribution facilities, back-office, and research and development space. Some of the companies Rod has completed lease negotiations with include Anheuser-Busch, AT&T, Avnet, Ford Motor Company, Grinnell Fire Protection, Hunt-Wesson, JB Rodgers/Kinetics, Maricopa County, Marriott, MCI, Motorola, Norwest Bank, Sherwin-Williams, Sylvania Lighting, US Door, US West, Wal-Mart and Wells Fargo.
The experience acquired through leasing, build-to-suit and end-user building sales has assisted Rod with facilitating single and multi-tenant investment transactions. Rod has completed the sale of millions of square feet of investment properties. Bradley was licensed in 1987 and has been with Cutler Commercial for over 27 years focusing primarily in the south and east areas of Arizona, (Mesa, Tempe, Chandler, Gilbert, Queen Creek). He specializes in the industrial and office market (acquisition, disposition) and takes pride in keeping his listings occupied. Bradley enjoys using his experience and integrity as a Tenant and Landlord Representative and building business relationships that last a lifetime. In his free time, he stays active in the community coaching youth sports, spending time with his family including two grandchildren, and enjoys hiking and golf when time permits.

Commercial Real Estate has been a consistent passion throughout Franklin Connell’s life. His education, along with his background in construction, service and property management has set the foundation for a successful career with Cutler Commercial. After gaining a wealth of experience in Retail while working for a reputable developer in North Scottsdale, he has now transitioned into an Industrial and Office specialist. Franklin studied Regional Development at the University of Arizona, focusing on the inner workings and designs of municipalities. He has since spent 3 years working in property management and landlord representation before transitioning into brokerage. This experience allows him to see properties from multiple viewpoints, giving his clients a confident position. Starting in 2013 with Cutler Commercial, Franklin currently represents over one million square feet for our clients. Being in the Valley for over 25 years, Franklin has no problem with completing deals anywhere in Maricopa County, however, his areas of focus are Phoenix, Tempe, Chandler, Mesa, and Gilbert.

Eric specializes in the sales and leasing of office and medical office properties in the Phoenix Metro market. He represents a large amount of office and medical office properties for sale or lease in the Greater Phoenix Area giving him an in-depth understanding of the Office and Medical market. In addition to Landlord services, Eric also represents his clients in tenant relocations, tenant expansions, owner/user sales, and investor acquisitions. Eric is a graduate of Robert Morris University where he competed on the Division 1 Men’s Hockey Team. In his free time, Eric is found at the valley rinks coaching the youth players of Arizona. He is also a member of Developing Commercial Real Estate Professionals (DCREP).

Married to Cliff Cutler since 1983, Robin founded the Property Management division of Cutler Commercial in 1985. With growth as a result of hard work and diligence, Cutler’s management division is now one of the premier management companies in the Phoenix metropolitan area. We pride ourselves on being accessible, communicative, honest, and fair. Robin Cutler graduated from the University of Arizona, cum laude, in 1978 with a Bachelor of Science in Speech and Hearing Science. She holds the Certified Property Manager designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM). When not working, Robin enjoys time with her family and friends and cycling on the streets of Phoenix and Scottsdale.

Robb comes to Cutler Commercial from the professional audio and video industry. He has over 20 years of experience in project management, sales management, including system design and sales. Robb has over five years of experience in residential property management on the Board of Directors with his self-managed Home Owners Association. His attention to detail and customer service will provide a great experience for our Cutler Commercial tenants. Robb enjoys a fast-paced and challenging environment and is always busy.
Robb’s favorite vacation spot includes any island in the state of Hawaii. His hobbies include following college and professional football and is an original and longtime Arizona Diamondback ticket holder and fan.

Erik comes to Cutler Commercial with 30+ years of management experience, including 20 years in construction management and development. He has extensive experience growing, developing and overseeing all aspects of daily operations for several companies that generate multimillion dollars in annual revenue, with 40 employees across 6 states. His attention to detail and customer service will provide a wonderful benefit to our Cutler Commercial tenants. Erik enjoys a challenging environment and is always striving to expand his knowledge of the industry. In his free time, Erik enjoys golfing, hiking, fishing and spending time with his family.

Originally from New Jersey, Alexa earned her Bachelor’s in Arts and Science from the University of Rhode Island in 2012, where she studied Women’s Studies and History. She completed her Post Baccalaureate Teacher Certification program from Caldwell University in 2014 and earned her Master’s Degree from Grand Canyon University in 2020. Chris joined Cutler Commercial in 2013 and is a veteran of the Army armed forces where he worked as an operating room technician in the operating room assisting doctors. Upon moving to Arizona in 2001, Chris changed career paths and worked as a manager at Brookstone for 4 years. Theresa Lillian is originally from New York City. She is a graduate of Laguardia College in NYC. Before working at Cutler, she was the Corporate Paralegal and Personal Assistant to the General Counsel of a Philadelphia based corporation. Her position in Sales & Marketing allows her to support the Cutler Team in providing top marketing materials as well as necessary communications to best showcase Cutler property listings.
